Dr. Dror Shamir is the Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Department in Bnai-Zion Medical Center in Haifa, Israel.
He graduated his Dental education from Goldshlager Dental School in Tel-Aviv University in 2004. He also accomplished an MSc. Diploma in Cell Biology from Sackler School of Medicine in the same university.
Dr. Shamir graduated his residency in OMFS in Rambam Health Care Campus in 2010 and since then his main clinical practice has been Dento-facial Anomalies and Maxillofacial Reconstruction.
Dr. Shamir participated in the first Noris Medical Zygoma Course in 2015, and since then he became one of the leading experts in this field in Israel.
Dr. Shamir is part of the Maxillofacial training faculty in the Technion Medical School in Haifa, Israel. As part of the training program, Dr. Shamir is responsible for teaching and tutoring 5-th and 6-th year medical students at the Department.
Dr. shamir maintains a private practice limited to maxillofacial and implant dentistry in Haifa, Israel.

In 2004 clinical stage at the “Malò Clinic” of Lisbon on the immediate loading implant-prosthetic procedures.
Currently he holds the position of adjunct Professor in DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND IMPLANT PROSTHESIS in the master’s course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis of the University of Genoa.
Since 1997, he has been collaborating to the didactic, research, and clinical activity at the Department of Implant Prosthesis of the University of Genoa directed by Prof. Paolo Pera.
Supervisor at the annual University Post-graduate Master in Implant-prosthesis at the University of Genoa, coordinated by Prof. Paolo Pera and Prof. Maria Menini.
Attainment of the Master in Zygomatic and Pterygoid Implantology at the University of Pisa.
Since 2014 he has been dealing with prosthetic rehabilitation in patients with severe maxillary atrophies.
Prof. Dr. Tealdo with his colleagues Paolo Pera and Marco Bevilacqua developed the “Columbus Bridge” rehab protocol published by Quintessenza in 2009 and translated in English in 2011.
Dr. Dennis G. Smiler is a Fellow in the: International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Society of Osseointegration, and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons; and is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Smiler graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry in 1964. He attended Boston University, Graduate School of Dentistry, earning a Masters of Science degree in 1968.
Following an oral surgery internship and residency at Roosevelt Hospital, New York, he returned to California in 1969, establishing his oral surgery practice.
Dr. Smiler has published numerous articles in the dental professional literature and contributed to periodicals and textbooks. He lectures extensively and participates in symposiums both domestically and internationally at universities, academy meetings, and implant conferences. He maintains a private practice in Encino, California.
