Tear-jerker case today. 39-year-old female who had serious MVA at age 18. Lost all teeth by age 19 following the accident. Has been edentulous for her entire adult life. Due to her severe bone loss, she could not wear her dentures. She has put off getting married to her fiancé for years because she does not want a wedding where she “looks like an old lady”. She gets treated poorly in public by people who assume the worst because of her lost facial support.
We did 2 pterygoids, 2 zygos, and one Vomer Implant in the maxilla. Standard all-on-4 in the mandible. Very small patient. Tight spaces. Lots of scar tissue from all of her prior facial reconstructive surgery. The Noris Medical – Dental Implant Solutions implants delivered solid torque all over
